This bright red little cafe along Tanjong Pagar Road has a warm and comforting interior and an extensive menu comprising of many interesting food. From salted egg yolk eggs ben to pay-what-you-want muffins, this cafe packs with many small surprises here and there. What I like most here is the free wifi and power, so you can relax with your computers on a lazy weekend.
Fresh Salted Egg Yolk (with a tinge of curry) flowing on top of 2 nicely poached eggs that are resting on 3 nicely grilled prawns, fresh and crispy kale and 2 soft pillowy mantous. As you pierce the whites of the eggs, smooth yellow egg yolk spills out and engulfs the entire plate. I gobbled the entire dish within minutes! There’s nothing else to say but it was a really good job by Drury Lane, having come up with this fusion of salted egg yolk, prawns with eggs benedict!
This dish is a must-try for both eggs benedict and salted egg yolk lovers alike!
