I finally patronised this really popular Japanese restaurant – The Sushi Bar. The usual outlet at Far East Plaza would usual see long snakes of queues outside this bar, but in NAC, things seems to be calmer here, yet I can barely contain my excitement of the food they are about
Premium thick cuts of salmon, salmon belly, tuna, scallops, swordfish, … all blow torched to perfection, leaving that seared taste that I particularly love so much, and all that topped with slices of tamago and fat balls of salmon roe!
I cannot emphasize just how good this chirashi don is!!!
Just look at that fat thick slice of seared salmon and scallop! Literally melts in your mouth. All this is heavenly, especially so when paired with the vinegar rice below and that satisfaction as each salmon roe ball simply exploding in your mouth.
Aburi Salmon Roll [$15.90] and Soft Shell Crab Aburi Salmon Roll [$18.90] – both of which have seared salmon and the special mentaiko sauce – melts in your mouth and making you crave for more!
Pardon the broken egg thats mixed with the rice, I couldn’t contain my excitement to dig into this dish! The perfect 65° egg mixed into rice with thick beef slices that melts in your mouth and a fat creamy foie gras – what else can one ask for? This bowl of heavenly goodness simply would make you satisfied completely as you sit there and wish you could eat this for the rest of your life. Ladies and gentlemen, the perfect combination of top quality wagyu beef-egg-seared foie gras is here.
